One wallet for everything Doichain touches
DOI-Wallet-iX is a desktop application for Windows that manages DOI, TRX, USDT, ETH and wDOI in a single interface. It is open source under MIT licence and comes from Webanizer AG — the same workshop that also builds the Doichain infrastructure.
What this wallet is good for
Anyone working with Doichain usually needs several wallets in parallel — one for DOI (on the Doichain mainchain), one for wDOI (on Ethereum), possibly one for stablecoins such as USDT. DOI-Wallet-iX brings these worlds together in one desktop application. You see all balances on a single dashboard, switch between networks, and do not have to remember five different tools.
Unlike a browser wallet like MetaMask, DOI-Wallet-iX runs as a standalone program on your computer. That has advantages (no browser plugin, no risk from infected websites) and drawbacks (no access from a phone, no direct connection to Web3 applications). Which wallet is right for you depends on what you want to do. If you only need wDOI in the Ethereum ecosystem, MetaMask is leaner; if you also want to hold native DOI, only DOI-Wallet-iX will do.
MetaMask or DOI-Wallet-iX?
MetaMask: only wDOI (on Ethereum), runs in the browser, easy for Web3 apps.
DOI-Wallet-iX: all five coins (DOI, TRX, USDT, ETH, wDOI), runs as a desktop application, required for native DOI.
Many Doichain users use both. → MetaMask guide
How it works — in brief
DOI-Wallet-iX stores your keys locally on your computer in encrypted files (wallet.dat). No one but you has access to them — not Webanizer, not us at Doichain. Recovery uses a 24-word seed phrase that you must note down at first start. This phrase is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost.
A particular feature: you can manage up to ten separate wallets in tabs. Each tab is its own wallet with its own seed phrase — for example "Main wallet", "Savings wallet", "Test wallet". This makes the application practical for people who want to manage their crypto assets in an organised way, without opening five different programs.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Multi-chain | DOI, TRX, USDT, ETH and wDOI in a single application |
| Multi-wallet tabs | Up to 10 separate wallets, each with its own seed phrase |
| Send & receive | QR codes, address validation, balance checks |
| Transaction notes | Personal notes per transaction |
| Daily limit (EUR) | Protection against accidentally large transfers |
| Undo timer | 10–60 seconds to reconsider after sending |
| Exchange link | Integrated DOI/USDT trading via XT.com |
| Encryption | AES-256-GCM for wallet files |
Current development — new version arrives on 1 June 2026
The current version of DOI-Wallet-iX is 0.9.5 Beta and is in internal testing. It will be released on 1 June 2026 and will then be available for direct download here.
- Extended stability tests prior to release
- Improvements arising from the test phase
Before the release date the wallet is not yet publicly available. If you already use the previous version (0.9.4), your installation continues to work normally — the new version will be compatible.
Installation — three steps
DOI-Wallet-iX does not need a classical installation. You download a ZIP file, extract it and start the program directly. The whole process takes about five minutes.
System requirements
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11 |
| Architecture | 64-bit (x64) |
| Disk space | approx. 150 MB free |
| Internet | Active connection required |
| Additional software | None — everything is bundled in the EXE |
Extract the ZIP file
- Use the download button above to download the file DOI-Wallet-iX-v0.9.5-Beta-win64.zip.
- Right-click the downloaded ZIP file.
- Choose Extract All… and set a target folder (the desktop, for example).
Start the program
- Open the extracted folder and double-click DOI-Wallet-iX.exe.
- On first start Windows may show a blue SmartScreen warning. This is normal for new open-source software without a commercial code-signing certificate.
- Click More info
- Click Run anyway
Set up the wallet
On first start the startup dialog appears with three options:
- Create new wallet — recommended for beginners. Generates a new 24-word seed phrase.
- Open wallet — if you already have a wallet.dat file.
- Restore wallet (seed) — if you have a 24-word phrase from a previous wallet.
When you create a new wallet, DOI-Wallet-iX shows you 24 English words in a specific order. This seed phrase is the only way to restore the wallet if your computer is lost or you forget the password.
- Write the 24 words on paper, not on a computer. Never photograph them, never put them in a cloud or a notes app.
- Keep the record in a safe place — ideally in two copies, in two different locations.
- Never share the seed phrase with anyone. Not with Webanizer support, not with us. Anyone who asks for your seed phrase wants to steal your wallet — without exception.
Also set a strong password for access to the wallet on this device. The password protects the wallet on your computer and is not the same as the seed phrase.
The first minutes in the wallet
Once the wallet is set up, you see the Dashboard — the main overview with all balances, addresses and connection status. The most important first steps:
- Check receiving. Switch to the Receive tab. For each currency (DOI, TRX, USDT, ETH, wDOI) you will see a dedicated address and a QR code. Click an address to copy it to the clipboard. These addresses can be shared safely.
- Configure security. Under Settings you can enable two protections that we explicitly recommend:
- Daily limit (EUR): a daily sending limit that catches accidental large transactions.
- Undo timer: 10 to 60 seconds to reconsider after every transaction, during which you can still cancel.
- Test with a small amount. Send a small amount to yourself from another wallet (for example MetaMask) to your wDOI address, check it arrives — and try sending the same small amount back. That is the simplest form of trust through practice.
- Back up the wallet file. Copy the file
wallet-1.dat(in the program folder) to an external drive. In an emergency the wallet can also be recovered via this file — as an alternative to the seed phrase.
