2026 is being called the "Year of Quantum Security." NIST, the FBI and CISA are jointly urging action now — not once it's too late.
Every Bitcoin and Doichain transaction is secured today by a signature scheme called ECDSA. Safe against classical computers — but not against a sufficiently large quantum computer. In April 2026 a Google research team lowered the estimated attack threshold from around nine million to under 500,000 qubits, putting it into a range the industry now discusses in years rather than decades.
Waiting isn't an option: the blockchain is already being archived today. Keys that are visible now can be broken retroactively the moment the hardware exists — "harvest now, decrypt later."
Bitcoin can't afford fast experiments on a multi-trillion-dollar system. Doichain can: same code, same miners, same tokenomics — but agile governance. So we test post-quantum schemes (the NIST standards Dilithium, SPHINCS+, Kyber) under real conditions and prepare the findings so Bitcoin can adopt the migration path.
That's the reason — but not the only topic. There's plenty more to build, and we need far more than cryptographers. We need every kind of skill: code, law, science, communication. If you want to help build something that lasts, you're welcome.

We are looking for people who see more in Bitcoin and the idea behind it than just a price. Who understand that decentralised systems are not only technology, but an attitude. Who want to work in their spare time on something that leaves a positive mark on the world — with the goal of doing good.
We are looking for people with high social competence. Peaceful and peace-loving. Who know that not everything of value can be bought — and that not everything you can buy has value.
We are not looking for influencers. We are not looking for quick wins. We are looking for people who stay.
